Hello world, I present you Kirby

It would appear I have left my safe, sheltered life as a writer of Fanfiction and an artist of cute and/or depressing things that nobody really pays attention to, and have now entered the realm of… blogging.

Yes. It is a grave moment indeed.

As an avid fan of Hyperbole and a Half, I’ve recently become interested in the idea of mixing writing and pictures about my average life and putting them on the internet on the off chance that someone actually cares. And last night, lying in bed and wondering why the heck I was still awake, inspiration struck.  Ideas tossed and turned in my mind – oh, the possibilities! – for hours and hours, leaving me sleepless yet filled with anticipation.

So naturally, when I woke up this morning, I remembered none of it.

In any case, I might as well introduce myself.  Hi, I’m Kirby. Yes, that’s my name. I read MLIA. I hate bad grammar. Anything else you need to know about me, I’m guessing you’ll eventually learn through my posts.

For now, I’m thinking of illustrating a few stories I’ve submitted to MLIA that were never published (probably because the website cannot stand my caliber of awesome. Or maybe they just don’t like me.)  I’ve also got quite a few stories in my journals from Greece and Australia to share.  Other than that, I’m pretty much sharing my boring ol’ life with the big, scary Internet.

If you enjoy reading about the average life of a spastic, crazy, possibly bipolar teenage girl, you’ve come to the right place.  Go ahead.  Hit that follow button. I might even give you a cookie.

Thank you, and have a Happy Easter if you believe that stuff.  If not, enjoy your vacation.  If you’re an actual adult working citizen, you have my sympathy.  In any case, cookies are delicious.
